Maiden on Flamingo came about due to my looking at book after book on Paris. I looked at several books that dealt with antiques and home decor. The french use a lot of pale colors in their decorating style. I painted the edges with a soft tranlucent brown which gives the painting an aged look. I will be visiting Paris soon and I am soooo excited. I know that the beautiful city will inspire me with lots of new ideas!
